Yes, I too am guilty of jumping through weight loss plan to others as well, I do believe that I must have tried every weight loss system that was available, however eventually not one of them helped me to lose and keep the weight off.   2. lol. Love the American approach to this. Trading obesity for heart attacks and dementia. Real keto is plant based and protein high. Not cheddar on everything, coconut oil in your coffee, buckets of cream cheese, mountains of bacon and a carrot snippet. Keep going. Ya'll will make nice thin corpses.

  3. I am 5’5 and weigh about 160 lbs, it is considered overweight. I never accepted this fact. I know I need to lose tons of weight and tried Weight Watchers and other programs.   10. FANTASTIC video! 👍 I've lost over 50 pounds in 3 months on a keto diet plan, 4 pounds a week, with a little bit of walking exercise. Plus I'm not even hungry! I mostly cut out sugar, salt, and all the potatoes/carbs. I eat about 2000 calories per day and I feel great, happy, and fit!

  11. When I was 63 I had had enough and I asked God to please help me. I could not take it anymore. I kept seeing the keto diet on Youtube and started looking into it. I got excited and tried it. I have been on it for 5 months now and have lost 49 pounds and I can't see myself going off of it. I love it that much. I don't cheat on it but I am enjoying how I feel. I have so much energy now.I have a long ways to go yet but now I can say I am enjoying my journey.

  12. Whatever you do DO NOT, I repeat: DO NOT eat Rebel Keto Ice Cream. Ate a couple of spoons, not a lot, and had diarrhea for 2 days straight! The worst 2 days of my life, NEVER AGAIN. And no I am not lactose intolerant and I don't have irritable bowel syndrome! I've eaten Ice cream all my life

  13. "Dr." Oz, why the hell are you promoting such a shitty DIET on your show? There are no long term studies done on this horrible, unhealthy diet. Being slim doesn't mean being healthy. This diet is absolutely horrible. Lifestyle change. People need a lifestyle change and not a diet. Shame on you for allowing this diet on your show. It's a fact that meat contributes to heart disease, high lood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and so much more. Think meat gave him a 6 pack? Absolutely not!!! EDUCATE yourself people. Look into the foods your body needs to nourish and hydrate. Meat has ZERO fibre and affects your health for the worse. Many people think that added sugars are bad and that the same applies to fruit just because fruit also contains fructose and this is a huge misconception. Fructose is only harmful in large amounts and it’s difficult to get excessive amounts of fructose from fruit alone.
    When you eat whole fruit it’s almost impossible to consume enough fructose to cause harm to your body. Fruit is loaded with fibre, water (as well as essential nutrients) and has significant chewing resistance so … most fruits (like apples, for example) take a while to eat and digest, meaning that the fructose hits the liver slowly.

    When fructose from pop, corn syrup, processed sugar etc hits your liver it hits it fast and it can have adverse health effects over time.
    **Fruit is the complete opposite**

    When fruit it hits your liver, it hits it slowly and in small amounts so your body is well adapted to easily metabolize the fructose. Eating large amounts of added sugar is harmful but it’s NOT the same when it comes from fruit.

    Carbs don’t make you fat! The glucose from carbs rarely gets stored as fat. It gets stored in your liver and in your muscles for later use. Glucose is what the trillion of cells in your body runs on. Our bodies need carbs!
    The brain tells your body that we need to use that glucose and not store it.

    You want complex carbs – found in whole foods, as they're high in fiber and pack in more nutrients than simple carbs. Because they’re higher in fiber they digest more slowly.

    *Complex carbs- fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, beans etc.

    *Simple carbs- which equals simplistic nutrition such as glucose, fructose & sucrose found in pop, baked goods etc.

    Be careful who you get advice from social media. Hell don’t even take what I say as true…do your own research for everything and anything you choose to put in your body. The fat you eat is the fat you wear!

  14. Keto is NOT all its cracked up to be! There is only 1 proven diet we should be eating. Go ahead and run your numbers before keto and 3 months in. You will NOT be happy. Red meat alone is proven to be a carcinogen. Vegan is great but way too radical for most people. All blue zone centenarians are Mediterranean. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies, LOW FAT, and a little …LITTLE protein a day. Like the size of your fist, a day. That's it. Its REALLY not as complicated as the stupid keto diet.
