A lot of people have been asking us to put together a meal plan for starting keto…so here it is! This video is all about eating keto on a budget. We are limiting ourselves to $5 a day for food! A big part of eating on a budget is planning and prepping. This video shows a good example of keto on a budget meal prep. We found it to be surprisingly easy with the help of some deals at the local super market and a little bit of planning. Keto shopping on a budget is totally doable and actually restricts you to only shopping for essentials, which can be good for those people just getting started on a ketogenic diet, even if budget isn’t a concern. We will be releasing subsequent videos in this series. We have 1 video that shows our cheap keto grocery haul where we got all the ingredients used in this meal prep, and another one that shows an example day of eating.   1. When considering eating healthy, you have to try not to fall victim to modern day fad diet plans. Extreme diets undoubtedly are a threat for your health, especially ones that seriously limit your every day nutritionary intake. Many of these fad diet plans work for a short period and then the benefits decrease after a while.   3. I'm struggling with enough fat on a budget. I'd be good with a mostly protein diet as I hunt, raise or catch all my family can eat every year, but man its hard to maintain a 70 percent fat diet. If I want a 16oz Elk Steak for dinner I would have to eat a virtual shit ton of say, lard.

  4. Everyone is making backhanded comments bc this stuff obviously costs more than $5…… Weellllllll it says $5 a day for 5 days which is $25 soooooo there’s that.

    But I had no idea bout the egg in the freezer thing. Does it turn out decent when it’s reheated??

  5. If there's anyone out there like me who HATES eggs without toast 🤢 a chef turned me onto scramble eggs mixed with sour cream, mayo, worcestershire sauce, swiss or provolone cheese 🤤 (cooked in butter) and you can omit or play with any of these! I'm finally okay with no toast!
