    Aussie Dave here in Pennsylvania USA,… Dinner 6pm Saturday, Roasted, bone in, skin on Chicken Thighs and a Salad with a little Cheese,… Two hours after the meal at 8pm, blood glucose was, in US numbers, 104 πŸ™‚
    12 hours later at 8am Sunday with nothing but water & sleep since the meal, fasting blood glucose was 145 πŸ™
    Thoughts ?

  3. How could I pick up the fat after frying, let's say a whole egg or a meat product, without any bread or another carb product? High fat is good, and eggs don't stick. But I have fat on the pan and on the plate instead of in the mouth. I know that boiled egg yolk can contain oils. What else besides that? How many eggs roughly is enough protein for one day? Coffee with butter and egg is suprisingly non-bitter.

  4. Hi Kait! I just want to share with you what one day of eating (New Year’s day) only meat and animal products (with booze, but no booze from here on out) did to me:-
    1. For the first time my skin didn’t feel painful, dry or itchy (especially my face), that’s last night into this morning. I didn’t need to plaster my face and body with Shea butter last night.
    2. I didn’t feel achy or itchy (different type of itchy from #1) all over.
    3. My digestion was amazing! No bloat, gas, gurgling, stomachache, or abdominal cramps.
    4. No muscle cramps or contractions.
    5. Everything I ate was so satiating (1 can of sardines; 4 whole eggs scrambled with tons of butter, salt, collagen powder, beef liver powder; three large chicken thighs baked in tons of butter and salt). In fact, I found that I didn’t need to eat a lot to start feeling full. And when I felt full, I was comfortably full. (I’m still even full this morning. I’m wondering if I’ll even feel the need to eat today). Unlike when I eat a plantbased diet. No discomfort.
    6. My ass is not burning, itching, or leaking.
    7. I would say that my schizophrenia and eyesight have improved. Plus I’ve experienced weight loss about 30 pounds. But to be fair it’s only been one day and I was already experiencing those changes. I credit that to intermittent fasting (even though I was still eating a shit diet).
    8. I noticed an improvement in my anxiety and I felt relatively happier (improved mood).
    9. I felt energized.
    This is one of eating this way. Just ONE day!
    If feel like this just after one day, I wonder what a month will feel like. Either way, I’m giving myself a year of eating this way to see what it does for me, because I have a lot of healing to do and about 50-80 more pounds left to lose.
    I really have to thank you (and certain others) for all the knowledge I have accumulated so far (and still learning)! You have been really helpful.

Have you experienced any negative side effects of this style of eating, I watched a video from healthy with nicole where she was saying she started experiencing negative side effects of carnivore had to start adding carbs back in her diet for thyroid reasons, I would really appreciate your insight on this issue..thanks πŸ’ͺπŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ

Happy New year Kait – three months ago I switched from my 2 year carnivore experiment and went on a mediterranean keto approach with much lower animal fats and higher omega 3 and 6 oilve and nut oils, avocados and asparagus, brussles sprouts, the results over the past 3 months have been astonishing, i only IF twice a week and upped the lean protein with only organic chicken breast, tenderloins and scallops, and increased veg and olive oil and ive lost 6 pounds of fat and leaned out even more than on the Carnivore plan。 i do use one oz of butter but only in ghee form and one oz of goat cheese a day,

  8. Have you considered doing a video on Keto/low carb drinks and beverages? In my experience this is an overlooked subject, people, myself included tend to overlook the carbs and empty calories in beverages. I understand this now but I took a while to understand. πŸ‘
