There is a lot that goes into this diet and there are a lot of side effects that can occur if you’re not careful. This diet is NOT for everyone, but it might just be the diet that you’ve been looking for to finally lose the weight. I use the term diet, but it is really a lifestyle.   3. yes but calories are not all equal. Calories from sugar are different than calories from fat. Calories from sugar do not nourish the brain. Calories from fat nourish the brain. When the brain is nourish you get the satisfied feeling of not being hungry. This enables you to do intermittent fasting in between meals. intermittent fasting has five stages. one is Autophagy . Autophagy kills damaged cells (cancer cells) , viruses and bacteria, repairs inflammation and damaged tissues and burns off any extra hanging skin that's no longer needed due to fat loss that a calorie restricted diet would eaves behind.
    Some keto people have changed from counting net carbs to total carbs because big foods cheats on the labels to trick you.
