Dr. Eric Berg is a chiropractor who specialises in weight loss through nutritional and natural methods. His private practice is located in Alexandria, Virginia. His clients include senior officials in the U.S. government and the Justice Department, ambassadors, medical doctors, high-level executives of prominent corporations, scientists, engineers, professors, and other clients from all walks of life.

Dr. Berg is the author of the best selling books ‘The 7 Principles of Fat Burning’ and ‘The Healthy Keto Plan’ in which he describes specific strategies on doing the healthy version of the ketogenic diet as well as intermittent fasting. He has conducted over 4800 seminars on health-related topics and trained over 2500 doctors world-wide in his methods.

Dr. Berg has been an active member of the Endocrinology Society, on the advisory panel for the Health Science Institute, and has worked as a past part-time adjunct professor at Howard University. He has appeared on many radio and television shows, including ABC, CBS, and as a monthly host on Channel 8’s Sports Talk. He has also had his own radio health show on WOL in 2005.

  1. cut out all processed foods and no sugar. Raw foods mostly. Eat onions, garlic, honey (very small quantity, chia, walnuts,. I am never hungry. I have two ab lines and over 65 yo. Do HIIT at night. Build muscle and burn fat. Eat only foods that burn fat – cayenne pepper, avocado and been in keto for a long time. Anti cancer foods – berries, cinnamon, tumeric and on and on.

  2. High saturated fat is an issue with keto. Also cardiogists have found that people with very low carbs have problems with muscles. I eat essentially the Okinawan diet with intermittant fasting, very small window of eating. Low sodium, raw leafy plants and high nutrient foods in low quantities. No longer hungry. Gut health, thin blood, HIIT, essential. Studied over 14 years.

  4. Ive been not eating much for days only broth because upset and nautious. Yet didnt lose much if anything. Doing low carb still not losing much.I was barely eating for weeks thought Id benifit by losing weight. I honestly list the most weight when eating frappes almost everyday eating bacon w toast butter everydsy low carb bugers. I was surprised. But afraid to do and gain.I noticed not eating chicken cheeseburgers was one thing. Oh Im not sleeping.

Dr. Berg I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer back in April of 2000 20 no one no doctors no nutritionist no one even the nurses tell me not to worry about it I have no faith in the medical organizations out here I just want to know if it's okay for me to do keto again do you have a video 4 cancer health or anything natural cuz I'm fed up with the drugs and set up with the doctors I I have a sense that they're not being honest with me and I can't go to the natural hospitals because my insurance won't cover it they are telling me out of pocket will be 30 to $90,000 I can't do that I'm considering going it on my own

  7. What do you think doctor about ready-made keto powder or capsules? It only takes hours to get on keto on its way, is it safe? Is it possible for the body to stop using its own ketones when using ??ready-made keto?

  8. you assume anyone who didn't lose weight on keto cheated. what if not? I was on pure keto for 4 months, blood ketones from 0.9 am to 3.0 pm. I didn't lose a kilo! I tested my insulin levels and it was still too high (10.35) even though my carbohydrates were up to 20g per day

I regret that initially in the beginning I used to ignore your videos but fortunately I realised that it was the worst mistake I ever made in my life considering that I used to be 95 kgs as a result of eating frequently high sugar rich food like ice creams,sweets along with refined carbs like chips,pizza,burgers,bread etc because I used to know absolutely nothing about insulin resistance but after watching your life saving videos i started following keto completely cut sugar and took 50g carbs along with IF then started exercising as a result I lost 15 kgs right now I'm 80 kgs feeling very healthy along with improved mental cognition

We appreciate your work. We found youbecasue out Functional Medicine Phsyciain told us to "If you want to go keto, go to Dr. Eric Berg's FB site and follow his recommendations exactly" and he did.

  11. Dude you are killing your clients. you need to get educated. When you study the microbiome you will find the KETO diet causes a dysbiosis of your gut bacteria, which sets you up fro disease. As a professional you need to get current and stop teaching people things that will kill them.. You are probably not even aware that your gut bacteria affect your metabolism.. You are not even aware that the American Medical Association, after 30 years of bullet proof research has no adopted the Vegan Whole Food low oil planet based diet. The opposite of what your are teaching.. the AMA is currently having hospitals ban eggs, dairy and meat as the now recognize these food are detrimental to patient health. Just to give you a little education, our bodies are driven to consume whole food plant based carb's, in fact this is what your gut bacteria wants, NOT the garbage you are preaching.. IGF-1 is 8x lower on a planet based diet. Sorry Doctor you have been debunked… STOP teaching KETO, in another 5 years you'll likely be sued for the damage you are doing to people.
